Python Web Scraping Developer

Your major tasks will be related to data retrieval and data accuracy. As a member of our development team, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining efficient and reliable web scraping code to gather and analyze data from various sources.

Main Responsibilities

• Managing crawling infrastructure;
• Developing new and maintaining existing crawlers;
• Working closely with the Data entry and Core dev teams

Requirements

• Proven knowledge and experience in Python;
• Experience in web crawling and data extraction;
• Understanding of web page elements / DOM / HTML / CSS / JS;
• SQL skills;
• Basic understanding of routing traffic;
• Git (github);
• Problem-solving skills, ready to troubleshoot robust problems to preserve consistency in crawling process;
• Ready to work in a dynamic environment and international team

Extra Credits

• Experience with Scrapy framework;
• Experience with Selenium;
• Good knowledge of some of the following languages and technologies: JavaScript, Node.js, PHP;
• Experience with Linux/Unix;
• Experience working with cloud infrastructure
